Amazon has set up a quick micropayment system that allows you to donate as little as one dollar (or as much as you want) to the Red Cross disaster relief effort. Think about the money you spend each week on coffee, bagels, whatever; now, think about giving that money to the work going into helping those affected most by this.

Thank you for posting that info. I don’t visit Amazon often enough and I might have missed it. Looks like they’re averaging almost $30 per donation at this point - cool…Dave.

Wow. When I posted the link this morning, the total was in the $110,000 range; right now, it’s $1,168,229.00. That’s been given by 40,527 people, which means roughly $28.83 per person. That’s awesome.

Oh, and for the love of God, maybe this is one of those times to abandon your righteous indignation and point out to people how they can help those who have been affected by the tragedy.
