I ran away from NYC for the weekend, getting down to Washington D.C. with Shannon to visit some friends. It was nice getting out of town, but as always, it’s also nice to come back. It wasn’t nice to see the Yanks lose that nailbiter last night, though, but life does go on.

I hate baseball.
Except for a Yankees game 2 or 3 years ago — where the most interesting thing to watch was the drunks in the stands — I’ve never been to a pro game. In fact, except for that game, and a minor league game I attended when I was 8, I’ve never even watched an entire game.
But this series was different… and that last game was great!
