• Good news: TiVo has announced their second generation settop box, complete with broadband connections, USB ports, and digital music capabilities.
• Bad news:: the digital music capabilities are all centered around RealNetworks, which may be the producer of some of the biggest pieces of crap available on the net.

Why anyone would want to hitch their wagon to that star is completely beyond me.
