I gotta say, the worst thing about watching the Yankees-Red Sox games is that goddamn car zoom sound that all of the Fox on-screen graphics make. Seriously — in the last minute, there have been eleven effects that made the little zoom sound. Wouldn’t you think that they’d realize the freaking car sound is only within spitting distance of acceptable during Nascar broadcasts, and that even then it’s seriously debatable?

Go Sox!

Worse than Tim McCarver? Worse than the inane cutting and close-ups? Worse than the insipid pun headlines on their graphics? Worse than the long commercials? Worse than the distracting ad behind the plate? Worse than the blaring green screen that’s visible on replays? Worse than the announcers’ shameless shilling for Sprint? Worse than the hyping of Fox shows and personalities?

The worst thing about watching any game on Fox is deciding what the worst thing is.

I don’t know what you have to do to make your post titles appear on the main page, but I humbly suggest you do it because the titles are damn amusing! That’s really why I link to you…

Amen, Luke, Amen! The Fox broadcasts are so annoying. I have to say, though, that as annoying as Tim McCarver is, I find Steve Lyons even more so. Wish I could get AM radio to work well in the house — I’d definitely use Steiner and Sterling’s radio broadcast as my sound!

this noise sucks!

Tim Mccarver needs to take his sorry ass off to retirement… How many times will he state a play is questionable when it’s obvious - constantly trying to create drama when little or none exists? Calling pitches close when they are a mile away… DREADFUL!!!! Ugh. Can’t get AM at my house (Brick), but tempting to go sit in the car and listen to the game!

Why in the heck can’t McCarver pronounce the players names correctly…Mueller is “miller”,Castello,he pronounces as “Casteel”.What is the matter with this so called educated sports journalist. Go back to school you moron.

From our Better-Late-Than-Never Department…
What a joy to know that so many others find Baseball on FOX to be a sacrilege! I can live with Joe Buck alright, but McCarver? If there’s a more pompous prig anywhere in broadcasting, I haven’t yet come across him or her, as the case may be. As for the rest of that worthless network’s diamond efforts, why they’re nothing more than a debasement of the beautiful game to the shameless, right-wing, corporate, money-grabbing, lying, gutter-culture, self-serving interests of its vain and vile ownership. Other than that, though, they’re OK…

New season, some crap from Fox. I can’t stand the way FOX does baseball. The late come backs inbetween innings and Tim Mc. make me want to listen to game on the radio. If it wasn’t a sox/yanks game I wouldn’t put up with this crap.
