Sad update: V.J. Lovero passed away early this morning. After being diagnosed with metastatic lung cancer, he opted to dig in and fight, and we all benefited from four more fantastic years with Veej. He will be sorely missed; V.J.’s spirit lives on in all that knew him.

VJ the man who nice enough to show me the ropes in
capturing baseball. I remember the first day I met him he
had a smile on his face to see a new face at Anaheim…

Thanks VJ ! I’ll miss you man!

I just want to say that V.J. was one of the most gracious people I ever met. Always an inspiration to me as a photographer and always a man of his word. I will miss him as I always looked forward to his friendly smile whenever I went out West to shoot baseball. Thanks for all your friendship.

Wow! another great photographer dies, Helmut Newton
a man that changed the way we photograph and who had a great career. He leaves behind his wife June & they had no children. His photographs were donated to a museum in
Berlin. He was simpleton and a visionary of photography.
We’ll all miss you and your images. www.fotographer.com
