Something that apparently became important to me on the flight down to Austin: the iPod Out-of-warranty Battery Replacement Program. Grrrrrrrrr.

I have not had this problem yet but I have heard about it. I found website that sells the battery for about $50 and has do-it-yourself instructions for replacing it.
