It’s a testament to how well Shannon knows me that she sent me this link to a post on Defense Tech about cool Area 51-related satellite images in Google Maps. This is my favorite, mostly because it’s fun to think about the work that went into making it…
I suspect that your favorite image is an artwork, not a functional object like an antenna farm or anything. It looks like the work of Lita Albuquerque, she used to go out in the desert and “draw” huge HUGE earthworks on the desert floor with pigments, like this:
